A remake of a childhood favourite of mine, I joined the project right at the end. I was primarily tasked with playing the game, reporting issues and providing feedback. I did, however, end up familiarising myself with the code base, implemented a couple of fixes to the game options and I even added a new option to help streamers.

ARK: Extinction

A port of an expansion for ARK: Survival Evolved. During my time as the primary maintainer of ARK Switch I provided support to another team who had been hard at work on merging and optimising this expansion for consoles. I helped out with some bugfixes, trying to figure out the cause of some launch day issues, and testing the Xbox One version while my colleagues focused on Playstation 4. This was my first real interaction with the Playstation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

Galaxodus

My first game project as a summer intern! This was a really great experience for me. I was hired to support the development of a twin-stick shooter at a local University-funded startup. The game was made using Unity and I worked on everything from the equipment system, implementing fracturing asteroids, performing network optimisations and discussing game design ideas. I always think fondly of this project but unfortunately the game was never released.
